I know the feeling when you're tired of looking in the mirror and knowing your body could look better if you just put the effort in. Whether you need to lose a few pounds/kgs or you could do with a bit of toning, these are some awesome pics I have collected which I placed around my room to help motivate me to exercise every day.
Please note it is important to remember not to over do it. You should be doing a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise every day, but no more than an hour and a half. Once you go over 90 minutes of exercise, you won't get any results - in fact you might cause yourself to move backwards. You may feel constantly fatigued, tired, and the chance of muscle injury is a lot greater.
At the end of the day, this isn't about changing yourself, but about improving yourself.
An appropriate work-out schedule for teenage girls will be posted soon.
Remember to stay healthy! Eat well and drink loads of water.

I've always been too lazy to exercise.
ReplyDeleteNot that it matters. I'm underweight as is...
^^ Interesting new blog. I'm a walker, really, and, well, newly a cyclist (is that too pro a term? o.O ) But I mean, 'no more than 30min' refers to intense exercise, right? Because I usually do an hour a day of walking, and I don't think that's really bad for me. It helps me clear my thoughts, and considering the time I spend sitting, it just doesn't seem that bad o.o As for bike riding, I do 20min, and that's not daily... so yeah...
ReplyDeleteNice pictures (:
Motivating pictures. I'm a track athlete, but every now and then I have to run longer distances. I can't run with music and when I'm on my own I just quit after two miles... So now my mom is often coming with me on her bicycle, so we can both work out and spent some more time together :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog, it's motivating and the first of it's kind that I've seen so far. I'm definitely following :)
Care to follow me back?
